About the position
As a Technology Technical Project Manager at American Express, you will be responsible for leading and managing technology development projects from conception to completion. This role involves planning, coordinating, and monitoring project delivery while ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support agile development and enhance product capabilities, ultimately contributing to an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead in the development of project plans and ensure the scope and approach is fully understood by all partners.
- Monitor and communicate progress of project delivery by cost, forecast, schedule and assessment of risks/issues.
- Support agile development planning and implementation of technology development projects that evolve product capabilities and system integration.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners as part of a cross-functional team.
- Proactively manage project risks & ensure timely mitigation planning is in place for continued delivery.
- Participate in Agile Ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-up and Retrospective.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in a related field.
- Prior relevant Technology and business work experience.
