About the position

The Campus Visits Program Manager at the University of Houston is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of campus visits and events aimed at supporting prospective students, parents, high school counselors, and other guests. This role involves supervising student ambassadors, planning campus tours, and developing special events to enhance the visitor experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of campus visits and events.
  • Supervise student ambassadors and student leaders within the ambassadors program.
  • Plan and develop campus tours, special events, and other visit programming for prospective students and their families.
  • Oversee program expenditures and ensure adherence to budget.
  • Provide guidance to subordinate staff and evaluate performance.
  • Prepare or participate in the creation of reports, funding proposals, and other documentation.
  • Review reports of budgets and activities.
  • Administer grants and grant-related communications, scholarships, and other operations.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain appropriate policies and procedures.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $43,000-$48,900 annually.
