About the position

The Canadian National Sales Manager at Klein Tools is responsible for leading a team of sales representatives across Canada to achieve sales performance goals. This role involves implementing sales strategies, developing promotional activities, and maintaining key relationships with distributor partners and B2B customers. The position requires a strong focus on customer relationships and sales growth, along with the ability to adapt to changing business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Independent Sales Rep Agencies to grow sales performance in all Canadian Provinces.
  • Maintain productive relationships with all National Accounts and Large Regional Distributors.
  • Develop value-supported relationships with numerous large Contractors, Industrials, and MRO Customers.
  • Lead achievement of sales quotas within the assigned region, including quotas for new products and promotions.
  • Continually prospect for new customers and channels of distribution.
  • Support sales events as assigned.
  • Develop and execute promotions to support sales of legacy and new products.
  • Compile a comprehensive understanding of each account's culture, key personnel, and direction.
  • Develop and implement sales plan using data analysis provided from internal teams and deliver a sales activity report on a regular cadence to direct manager.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree Required, Bachelors Degree preferred.
  • At least five (5) years of Sales experience is required.
  • Previous Canadian sales experience is desirable.
  • Strong communications skills, verbal and written.
  • Basic knowledge using Microsoft Office to include Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong team focus and ability to work with others, both internal and external to the organization.
  • Must be bondable and possess a valid driver's license at all times.
