About the position

The Canine Bather position at PetSuites involves providing bathing services for dogs, ensuring they are clean and well-groomed while delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities

• Ensure that each guest is treated with respect and dignity
• Bath pets according to client requests, including bathing, brushing, drying, nail trims, and ear cleaning
• Communicate with pet parents regarding services, pick-ups, and any necessary information
• Maintain proper documentation and notes for other staff members
• Manage bathing supplies and notify management when supplies are low
• Clean and disinfect bathing areas and maintain a sanitary environment
• Monitor guest health during bathing and report any concerns
• Adhere to safety standards when handling pets, especially aggressive ones
• Follow resort pricing guidelines and review prior notes before completing services
• Work collaboratively with other departments and team members

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with pet parents and team members
• Experience with animal care, particularly dogs and cats
• Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Office
• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, including lifting up to 60 lbs
• Attention to detail, especially in documentation and cleanliness
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable work ethic
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
