About the position

The Cannabis Advisor at Zen Leaf is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and educational consulting regarding cannabis products. This role involves assisting customers in understanding the benefits and uses of cannabis as a wellness product, while also managing patient records and ensuring compliance with local regulations. Responsibilities

• Greet customers and patients with a positive attitude.
• Advocate for cannabis customer care.
• Educate customers on the use of cannabis as a wellness product.
• Build rapport with regular patients/customers to promote repeat business.
• Provide information on types, methods, and efficacy of various cannabis products.
• Engage in ongoing cannabis education and training.
• Support managers and other Cannabis Advisors as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation/storefront.
• Ensure accuracy of online orders before pick-up.
• Understand and apply compliance regulations as required by local and state laws.
• Stock, merchandise, and replenish inventory displays.
• Complete transactions at the POS and update the state monitored inventory system.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of retail or hospitality experience.
• Must be 21 years of age and comply with all local, state, and company regulations.
• Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes, and product application/consumption methods.
• Ability to use office equipment and software such as Word and Excel.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the cannabis industry.
• Knowledge of Federal, State, and local laws relating to the cannabis industry.
