About the position

The Cannabis Advisor at Verano is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and educational consulting regarding cannabis products. This entry-level position involves assisting customers and patients in understanding the benefits and applications of cannabis as a wellness product, while also managing patient records and ensuring compliance with local and state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional individualized customer service to customers and patients.
• Educate customers on the use of cannabis as a wellness product.
• Build rapport with regular patients/customers to promote repeat business.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation/storefront.
• Ensure accuracy of online orders before pick-up.
• Stock, merchandise, and replenish displays of inventory.
• Complete transactions at the POS and update the state monitored inventory system accurately.
• Assist managers and other Cannabis Advisors as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of retail or hospitality experience.
• Must be 21 years of age and comply with all local, state, and company regulations.
• Ability to use office equipment and software such as Word and Excel.
• Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes, and product application methods.
