About the position

We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Marijuana Budtender to join our team. As a Budtender, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and educating clients about our wide range of cannabis products. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment, assisting customers with their selections, and ensuring compliance with all regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their shopping experience.
• Educate customers on various cannabis products, including strains, edibles, and concentrates, to help them make informed choices.
• Conduct product demos to showcase the benefits and uses of different cannabis items.
• Manage stock levels by monitoring inventory and assisting with restocking as needed.
• Utilize basic math skills for accurate cash handling and processing transactions.
• Upsell products by effectively communicating their benefits and features to customers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the store to enhance the shopping experience.
• Adhere to all legal regulations and company policies regarding the sale of cannabis products.
• Provide assistance over the phone with inquiries and product information while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred, ideally in a grocery store or similar environment.
• Familiarity with cannabis products is required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this will enhance communication with a diverse customer base.
• Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on customer engagement and relationship building.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly while maintaining integrity in all dealings.
