Responsibilities

  • Manage and fulfill all cultivation activities, including planting, transplanting, feeding, watering, pruning, and harvesting.
  • Develop and implement cultivation strategies to optimize plant health, growth, and yield.
  • Monitor and maintain environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, and lighting to create an optimal growing environment.
  • Implement and manage pest and disease control strategies, including identification, prevention, and treatment.
  • Oversee and manage the nutrient program, ensuring proper feeding schedules and nutrient formulations.
  • Train and mentor cultivation team members, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest level of plant care.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of cultivation activities, including plant inventory, nutrient schedules, and harvest yields.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as processing, compliance, and management to ensure a smooth workflow and timely production.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, techniques, and regulations related to cannabis cultivation.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant state and local regulations governing cannabis cultivation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Cannabis Cultivator or similar role in a large-scale cannabis cultivation facility.
  • Extensive knowledge of cannabis strains, genetics, and cultivation best practices.
  • Strong understanding of plant care, propagation, and cultivation techniques.
  • Familiarity with state and local regulations governing cannabis cultivation.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing, bending, and lifting heavy objects.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have Marijuana Handlers Permit.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
