About the position

Arise Cannabis is seeking an ambitious and experienced Cannabis Sales Representative to promote the Arise brand and contribute to the company's growth. This role involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with cannabis buyers, executing sales initiatives, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be goal-oriented, self-motivated, and possess exceptional communication and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Driving throughout the assigned territory to visit customers and deliver products.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of sales plans, goals, and processes to increase cannabis product sales and attract new customers.
  • Tracking sales and performance to ensure company goals are met.
  • Analyzing market trends and competitor product offerings and pricing.
  • Delivering products, scheduling drop-offs, and coordinating any occasional returns or exchanges.
  • Tracking and reporting customer praise, concerns, and ideas for new products.
  • Maintaining and building significant customer relationships to sell new and existing products.
  • Achieving regular sales goals, including monthly, quarterly, and annual goals, while maintaining peak customer service satisfaction.
  • Attending and contributing to sales team meetings, training, and other in-person gatherings as directed by senior management.
  • Maintaining consistent professionalism in interactions with customers.
  • Communicating problems, customer issues, or other concerns with the senior management team.
  • Adjusting tactics and strategy to reflect changing market needs and conditions.
  • Accepting and relaying product orders from customers to the correct department or creating orders using the software package.
  • Following all cash procedures precisely and providing assistance to investigate problems or inconsistencies.
  • Maintaining a record of sales activities using the CRM.
  • Assuring compliance with all local, state, federal billing/invoicing, licensing, and other regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the Portland, Oregon area.
  • 2 years of Cannabis Industry experience (B2B sales).
  • 2-3 years experience in building business relationships in a self-motivated environment and hitting targets/goals.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks.
  • Own a reliable cell phone.
  • Own and maintain a reliable vehicle for transportation (must lock with an alarm).
  • Own a laptop or tablet for regular work use.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must have or be able to maintain an Oregon OLCC Marijuana Worker Permit.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills and email, including Microsoft Office and all associated programs (including Microsoft Office Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and balance up to 50 pounds (100 pounds with assistance).
