About the position

The Canvassing Sales Manager at United Solar is responsible for driving new business through door-to-door sales of solar energy solutions. This role requires a motivated individual who is passionate about green energy and possesses strong communication and customer service skills. The position is contract-based and involves working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet sales goals and provide valuable feedback to management.

Responsibilities

  • Canvassing neighborhoods going door to door to identify and approach potential residential homeowner customers.
  • Making residential homeowner customers aware of the utility rate increases to close deals and meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Provide regular feedback and insights to management to help improve and refine our sales strategy.

Requirements

  • Drivers license and reliable means of transportation.
  • Experience in door-to-door sales is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of solar energy and construction industries is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
