About the position

The Canvassing Sales Manager at United Solar is responsible for generating new business opportunities through door-to-door sales of solar energy solutions. This role focuses on promoting the benefits of solar energy to residential homeowners, particularly in light of increasing utility rates. The ideal candidate will be energetic, self-motivated, and possess strong communication skills to effectively engage potential customers and close sales.

Responsibilities

  • Canvassing neighborhoods going door to door to identify and approach potential residential homeowner customers.
  • Making residential homeowner customers aware of the utility rate increases to close deals and meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Provide regular feedback and insights to management to help improve and refine our sales strategy.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Driver's License
  • Experience in door-to-door sales is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of solar energy and construction industries is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
