About the position

As a CAO/Price Integrity Clerk at King Soopers, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy of pricing documentation within the store. This position is essential to ensure that customers receive the correct pricing information and that the store adheres to company policies and procedures. You will be responsible for various tasks that include maintaining the store's UPC file, checking in and testing scans from all vendors, and ensuring that weekly ad items are accurately reflected in the scanning file. Your attention to detail will be vital as you perform regular test scans of the entire store every six to eight weeks, ensuring that all pricing is up to date and accurate. In addition to pricing responsibilities, you will also be tasked with maintaining documentation related to retail accounting and special reports. This includes the A.C. Nielson report and the Special Item Movement Report. You will be expected to provide housekeeping in the computer room, which involves checking and cleaning filters, sweeping and mopping the floor, and performing monthly power fail simulations to ensure the integrity of the systems in place. Your role will also require effective communication with both customers and associates, ensuring that all interactions are conducted with professionalism and courtesy. Responsibilities

  • Maintain store UPC File (price change, deletion, new items)
  • Check in and test scan all vendors
  • Maintain weekly ad item in scanning file
  • Provide housekeeping in computer room, including checking and cleaning filters, sweeping and mopping computer room floor, checking battery backup systems, and once a month power fail simulation
  • Copy PLU File twice a week
  • Maintain documentation on all retail accounting
  • Test scan entire store every six to eight weeks
  • Maintain Special Report File (A.C. Nielson, Sami, Special Item Movement Report)
  • Perform other duties as assigned by store manager and scanning supervisors
  • Adhere to company policies & procedures, particularly in the areas of dress code, grooming, sanitation, and maintenance of a work environment free of unlawful harassment or discrimination
  • Effectively communicate with customers and associates
  • Maintain flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights as the work demands; willing and available to work weekends and holidays as needed

Requirements

  • Ability to be prompt, tactful, calm, courteous, and professional in all interactions
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Must be able to read shelf tags, signs, product labels, training materials, bulletins, etc.
  • Available and able to perform stock clerk duties and customer service duties as scheduled or assigned
