About the position

The Capital and Service Sales Associate at Boston Scientific is responsible for planning and scheduling activities to meet customer needs and service level objectives for capital equipment and services. This role involves managing sales information in Salesforce, tracking deals through legal processes, and overseeing project management for new hospital builds, ensuring all necessary resources are coordinated effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and support a work environment of continuous improvement that aligns with BSC's Quality Policy and regulations.
  • Collaborate with AFS Sales and Service Managers to assist in the sale of capital and service, ensuring clarity of installation requirements.
  • Conduct pre-install planning for capital product installations, ensuring all equipment and hospital IS network requirements are met.
  • Serve on-site as the key lead during the installation process with the regional field team.
  • Facilitate the transition to regional sales teams and mapping specialists post-installation.
  • Manage requisitioning and allocation of materials and supplies for capital installations in a timely manner.
  • Monitor on-time delivery of purchased goods and services to meet manufacturing needs while minimizing inventory investment.
  • Analyze suppliers to establish expectations on installation and implementation strategies to enhance customer relationships.
  • Own the Capital RFI/RFP process as hospitals request.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent sales work experience.
  • 2+ years of sales-related work experience.
  • Technical aptitude to discuss and explain complex hardware and software.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and complete extensive training programs.
