About the position

The Capital Markets Associate - Portfolio Management at PNC plays a crucial role in facilitating the execution and administration of portfolios within the Corporate Banking organization. This position involves supporting a team in managing customer requests, generating reports, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. The associate will engage in risk assessment and management while collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates seamless execution and ongoing administration within the business.
  • Supports a team overseeing portfolios and customer requests to identify and mitigate risk.
  • Generates reports including portfolio, asset level, and business level financial and regulatory reporting.
  • Assists in scheduling and recordkeeping for field exams to ensure adherence to established plans and procedures.
  • Executes ongoing deal administration and surveillance plans, including reviewing and approving borrowing requests.
  • Sets up and monitors covenant reporting requirements and reviews servicer reports and field exams.
  • Evaluates market and economic data to determine impacts on portfolios.
  • Reviews and interprets loan documents and servicing agreements, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Manages credit risk and compliance documentation.
  • Engages in communication with internal and external parties, including clients and other stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years of relevant professional experience in finance or related fields.
  • Strong accounting experience.
  • Experience with ACBS and Capital Stream.
