About the position

The Capital Projects Manager at Carbon Zero Buildings is responsible for overseeing the installation of electrification technologies and energy efficiency upgrades in large multifamily housing complexes. This role is pivotal in leading the transition to sustainable practices within the affordable housing sector, contributing to the reduction of the carbon footprint in the built environment. The position requires strong project management skills, financial oversight, and the ability to coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Oversee all project phases from inception to completion.
• Manage project budgets, cash flow, and contracts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and government agencies.
• Coordinate with consultants, guide stakeholders, and drive project success.
• Possess a strong understanding of building systems and construction principles.
• Adhere to incentive program requirements, interface with program personnel, and ensure timely payment.
• Ensure all project activities adhere to local, state, and federal regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven track record of successful project delivery in construction or energy efficiency.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in project management software and financial analysis tools.
• In-depth knowledge of building systems and construction processes.
