About the position

The Capmarkets Java Developer position at Randstad US involves working on complex software engineering initiatives, primarily focusing on Java development. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java applications using Java 11/17, Micro Services, and Java Spring Boot.
• Perform back-end code reviews and write unit test cases to achieve 80% code coverage using JUnit.
• Collaborate with a team of 10+ developers and build rapport with Scrum stakeholders and interface developers in both India and the US.
• Manage code using tools like GitHub, Jenkins, and UDeploy.
• Build cloud-native applications that meet 12/15 factor principles on Pivot Cloud Foundry (PCF) or Microsoft Azure.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and directly with US partner teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience or equivalent.
• 12+ years of experience in Java development, including coding, unit testing, and functional automation.
• Expertise in Java 11/17, object-oriented design, programming designs, and design patterns.
• Robust working knowledge of building cloud-native applications.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with JavaScript.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
