Purpose and Scope:
The Capture Executive will be responsible for leading Division-level, high priority captures with values typically over $100M, adhering to the Amentum business growth processes and all other applicable policies and procedures.
Essential Responsibilities:
Provide critical leadership from win strategy development through the post submission phases of the new business process.~Develop and implement capture plans and strategies, have a firm comprehension of the customer's requirements, understand the strengths/weaknesses of our competitors and develop/implement winning strategies that highlight our strengths and mitigate weaknesses.~Guide value-added teaming strategies and competitive pricing structures to create a profitable return at a winning cost.~Provide market analysis, strategic business planning including identification, qualification, and capture strategy development, leading to award of major programs.~Provide strategic direction and leadership; develop comprehensive account plans; identify and qualify new business opportunities; develop creative capture strategies; and assist in the preparation of winning proposals.~Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.~
Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field, plus a minimum of 10 years hands-on experience in Business Development, Program Management and Strategic Capture. Prior large-program, Federal Services business development and capture management experience essential. Demonstrated ability to lead/execute disciplined capture and proposal efforts for large and/or complex captures. Must be organized, aggressive, and highly-skilled senior professional with proven success in selling in a highly competitive IT and professional service markets to federal clients. Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:
Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizational skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.
