About the position

The Car Operations Analyst at Expedia Group plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of ground transport content across Expedia Group's global sites. This position involves systematic research and analysis to support the delivery of excellent customer experiences, maintain existing supply, and launch new content. The analyst will collaborate with various stakeholders, including customer service and suppliers, to enhance operational efficiency and support new feature launches.

Responsibilities

• Deliver world class customer experience on Expedia Group sites by reducing errors, maintaining existing supply and launching new content while maintaining quality for all functions.
• Support new feature and product launches through configuration of new content and rigorous testing processes.
• Provide regular and ad hoc reports and analysis for internal and external partners.
• Support prioritization of projects and key initiatives through the collection and analysis of supporting data.
• Maintain relationships with business-critical teams through regular partner contact and delivering valued services.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through iterative tool and process improvements.
• Train peers in the use of current tools and processes.
• Provide escalation support for various teams relating to site content, capabilities and performance.
• Actively participate in supporting the inclusive culture of Expedia Group.

Requirements

• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate with stakeholders by tailoring technical and complex information to your audience using various methods.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and adhere to priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Mid-level SQL analysis skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Ability to create, modify and run SQL queries.
• Knowledge of interpreting information in either Amadeus or Titanium.
• Ability to work effectively in diverse group settings as well as independently.
• Self-motivated and takes initiative.
