About the position

As a Car Sales Finance Manager at Hertz, you will play a crucial role in managing the retail business, which includes overseeing the sales process, finance operations, and leading the sales team. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the management of all store processes as needed while supporting omni-channel sales initiatives. This position offers a competitive annual salary of $36,000 and provides opportunities for professional growth within the company. In your daily activities, you will be expected to meet and exceed sales targets while managing and leading the sales team. This includes responsibilities such as scheduling, interviewing, hiring, and performance management of team members. You will drive strong accountability for CRM metrics and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with the company's goals. Additionally, you will support Digital Retailing initiatives, including the Rent2Buy program, and ensure the completion of finance deal packages, promptly following up on any missing documents and pending deals. Your role will also encompass supporting the Finance and Insurance process and performance, ensuring that the store achieves high customer service scores (NPS). You will train sales staff in customer interaction and processes, oversee store management as the second highest employee at the location, and support inventory and reconditioning processes. Pricing of cars as needed and monitoring compliance with the Internal Audit Checklist (ICC) will also be part of your responsibilities. You will manage employee, consumer, and vendor issues, including addressing concerns and complaints in collaboration with Car Sales Leadership and HR.

Responsibilities

  • Manage retail business including sales process, finance, and sales team.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Manage and lead the sales team, including scheduling, interviewing, hiring, and performance management.

  • Work with Sales Consultants on finance processing and metrics.
  • Support the Finance and Insurance process and performance.

Requirements

  • 3 years' experience in Car Sales.
  • Experience in auto dealership or auto financing preferred.
  • 1 year of management experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience in car sales management.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across multiple functions and locations.
  • Ability to influence and motivate teams.
  • Flexible and adaptable; ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Results driven, ability to make decisions and help solve problems.
