About the position
Heritage Mazda Towson is seeking a Sales Manager to lead and drive sales in both the new and pre-owned vehicle departments. The role emphasizes customer satisfaction and aims to create a positive working environment while managing a sales team. The Sales Manager will be responsible for hiring, mentoring, and training staff, as well as maintaining sales profitability and customer retention.
Responsibilities
- Promote and drive sales results while creating a positive working environment.
- Hire, motivate, mentor, and train the New & Used Sales team.
- Work with the team to maintain sales profitability of New and/or Pre-Owned Vehicles.
- Manage customer retention efforts.
- Establish and maintain performance standards.
Requirements
- Previous automotive leadership experience with increasing responsibility.
- Proven ability to close sales.
- Customer-focused with the ability to think on your feet.
- Ability to seek out new ways to build opportunities for the dealership and customer satisfaction.
- Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software, internet proficiency, and general mathematic skills.
