About the position
Blue Tide Car Wash is seeking Car Wash Attendants at our NEW Mitchell location! We are in the business of clean and are rewriting the rules of the car wash industry. We wash cars for the FUN of it and put our people first, helping turn jobs into careers. Our Crew Members are responsible for providing an excellent customer experience to all customers using our facility, ensuring customer satisfaction by providing a clean, dry, shiny vehicle in a safe, fast, and friendly manner. No previous car wash experience is necessary; we will teach you the rest!
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to all customers.
- Suggest and up-sell wash products and plans to customers; assist customers with menu options and payment.
- Observe and maintain lane and tunnel flow; perform visual inspections of the condition of each vehicle prior to entering the tunnel.
- Process point of sale transactions efficiently and with minimal error; safeguard cash and comply with cash and safe drops.
- Maintain and clean all areas of the car wash; maintain outside equipment and supplies.
- Perform preventive maintenance on the car wash equipment; notify management when malfunction occurs.
- Work safely and report unsafe conditions or maintenance issues to management.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred; previous customer service or sales experience required.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills; customer service oriented.
- Good accuracy and attention to detail; able to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Able to lift, carry, push/pull up to 50 pounds alone; regular use of ladder.
- Physical stamina to work long hours and have physical mobility to bend, kneel, stoop, squat, reach and stand/walk for long periods of time; able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
