About the position

The Car Wash Attendant is responsible for washing and detailing vehicles at car wash facilities, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and customer service. This role involves using various cleaning agents and equipment, overseeing operations at automated or self-service car washes, and performing maintenance on car wash machinery.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers and explaining services provided by the facility
• Managing payments and transactions
• Monitoring functionality of car wash machinery and equipment
• Performing maintenance on car washing equipment as needed
• Washing the interior and exteriors of cars by hand, using proper equipment and cleaning agents
• Pre-washing and rinsing soiled vehicles
• Cleaning the car wash facility, including taking out trash or removing debris
• Assisting customers as needed
• Moving or directing vehicles into car wash areas
• Inspecting vehicles to assess their condition
• Ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures

Requirements

• Ability to operate car wash machinery and equipment
• Strong customer service skills
