About the position

As a Car Wash Lead at GetGo, you will play a crucial role in assisting store leadership to achieve WetGo goals and objectives while driving sales growth. This position involves ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining safety standards, and overseeing the cleanliness and functionality of the car wash area.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety as the top priority in all aspects of work for team members, customers, and products.
• Achieve and maintain prompt, courteous customer service, addressing customer concerns and promoting company culture.
• Clean windows on the car wash building and the car wash area by sweeping debris, shoveling snow, and salting when necessary.
• Hose down the concrete area of the car wash and hand finish cars as needed.
• Assist store leadership in achieving targeted sales for the site and build ongoing relationships with customers to establish repeat business and referrals.
• Assist customers in finalizing sales as needed and be responsible for ordering and receiving all WetGo supplies.
• Motivate the team to provide value-added services, such as vehicle prepping, as needed.
• Maintain communication with store leadership and WetGo team members, assisting in training and leading current WetGo attendants and new hires.
• Implement all WetGo promotions, including signage, ordering, team training, and establishing team performance goals.
• Develop work assignment sheets for every WetGo shift, ensuring completion on a daily basis.
• Support and enforce all company policies regarding safety and security procedures and other company policies.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure car wash uptime expectations are met and maintain cleanliness of equipment, floor, and car wash areas.

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of experience in a related field.
• Previous car wash management experience is desired.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Technical/Mechanical school certification or licensing is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
