About the position

The Car Wash Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and servicing machinery and equipment at car wash locations in Oklahoma City. This role involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and ensuring the proper functioning of vehicle wash equipment. The technician will travel between multiple locations and must be able to work effectively under various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of duties related to maintaining and servicing machinery and backroom equipment.
• Travel between multiple locations to provide routine scheduled maintenance and unscheduled breakdown repairs.
• Troubleshoot, resolve, and test electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, plumbing, and pneumatic issues.
• Read and interpret manuals, work orders, schematics, and other equipment documentation.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and other equipment as needed.
• Comply with all safety guidelines, procedures, and PPE requirements at all times.
• Work efficiently and effectively while juggling multiple projects.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of equipment changes or modifications through various resources such as training seminars, maintenance manuals, and service bulletins.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on vehicle wash equipment and accessories.
• Replace, repair, or adjust parts and systems as necessary.
• Inspect, calibrate, and check all chemicals.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum one (1) year experience in equipment maintenance/repair.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Electrical knowledge and excellent mechanical abilities.

Nice-to-haves

• Car wash experience preferred but not required.
