About the position

The Car Wash Service Technician position at Kwik Trip is an entry-level role focused on the repair and maintenance of car wash equipment across multiple store locations. The technician will perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance as they gain experience, ensuring that the car wash equipment operates efficiently. This role requires a motivated individual who can troubleshoot and repair equipment while documenting inspection results and communicating any deficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, analyze, and repair car wash equipment as required.
• Recommend replacement of equipment when necessary.
• Inspect equipment and accurately document inspection results.
• Communicate site deficiencies that will require further action.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• High mechanical aptitude.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Understanding of blueprints and schematics.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Strong interpersonal, organization, and written/oral communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of electricity, plumbing, pneumatics, hydraulics, and general maintenance experience.
