About the position

The Card Operations Specialist is responsible for managing consumer and commercial debit/credit card servicing requests and non-fraud disputes through various communication channels. This role emphasizes delivering excellent member experiences while ensuring compliance with regulations and internal procedures. The specialist collaborates with multiple departments to support operational efficiency and uphold the organization's values.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end servicing requests for consumer and commercial debit/credit cards.
  • Handle non-fraud dispute case management across phone, mail, and electronic channels.
  • Perform a range of monetary and non-monetary transactions.
  • Ensure adherence to quality control and productivity standards.
  • Deliver exceptional member experiences while complying with regulations and procedures.
  • Collaborate with departments such as Risk Management, Account Services, and Asset Recovery.
  • Complete additional job-related duties to support organizational goals.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three years of experience with a financial institution related to ATM's, Debit Card, Credit Card, and Chargeback processing.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Proficient in personal computer programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organization, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
