About the position

The Cardiac Monitor Technician plays a crucial role in providing clerical support within the Medical-Telemetry Unit. This position involves monitoring cardiac rhythms, documenting physician orders, and facilitating communication between departments to ensure patient care is coordinated effectively.

Responsibilities

• Observe and identify cardiac rhythms and chart them accurately.
• Record written doctor's orders and verify them with a Registered Nurse.
• Communicate with other departments and nursing units regarding patient and unit matters.
• Provide clerical support to the unit as needed.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Six months of clerical or healthcare experience.
