About the position

The Cardiac Program Coordinator at Baptist Health is a full-time role focused on enhancing the quality and effectiveness of cardiac care across multiple locations. This position involves collaboration with clinical staff, pre-hospital personnel, and community partners to ensure timely and superior cardiac care delivery. The coordinator will engage in program planning, implementation, performance improvement, and education to achieve and maintain cardiac certification programs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clinical staff and community partners to enhance cardiac care delivery.
• Plan, assess, and implement cardiac care programs.
• Engage in performance improvement initiatives related to cardiac care.
• Educate patients, families, and staff on cardiac care protocols and programs.
• Support the maintenance of chest pain and cardiac certification programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
• 3-5 years of clinical cardiac experience required.
• 1-2 years of program coordination experience (development, execution, and maintenance) required.
• 1-2 years of emergency department experience preferred.
• 1-2 years of cardiac experience preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience with EPIC systems.
