About the position

The position is for an adult cardiac surgeon with 3-5 years of experience to join a thriving practice in the Shenandoah Valley. The role involves working alongside two cardiovascular surgeons and advanced practice providers in a hospital-employed setting, focusing on providing advanced and compassionate cardiovascular care with excellent outcomes. Candidates with advanced fellowship training in aortic surgery or structural heart are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced cardiovascular care to patients.
• Collaborate with a team of cardiovascular surgeons and support staff.
• Participate in a 1:3 call rotation.
• Engage in continuous professional development and training.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in cardiac surgery.
• Advanced fellowship training in aortic surgery or structural heart is preferred.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in minimally invasive cardiac surgery.
