About the position
This position offers an opportunity to join a Magnet recognized regional health system in Annapolis, Maryland, focusing exclusively on cardiac surgery, including both the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) and operating room (OR). The role features limited weekend call and provides top-tier compensation based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac surgeries in both CICU and OR settings.
- Participate in weekend call as needed, though it is very limited.
- Collaborate with the Chief of Cardiac Surgery and other medical staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- Board certification in Cardiac Surgery.
- Experience in both CICU and OR environments.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Fellowship training in Cardiac Surgery.
- Experience in a Magnet recognized health system.
