About the position

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Ultrasonographer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients, including working directly with the physician in the diagnosis and treatment of venous ablations. This role requires a strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced medical environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ultrasound examinations on patients, ensuring high-quality imaging for diagnostic purposes.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to determine appropriate imaging techniques based on patient needs.
• Maintain accurate records of ultrasound procedures and patient information.
• Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques and safety protocols during all procedures.
• Assist in the training and supervision of junior staff or students as needed.
• Stay updated with advancements in sonography technology and techniques to enhance patient care.
• Participate in quality assurance programs to maintain high standards of practice within the department.

Requirements

• Proficient in sonography with a strong understanding of anatomy knowledge.
• Minimum verifiable experience of 1 - 2 years in cardiology and diagnostic evaluation techniques is preferred.
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring systems is advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively within a lab and radiology environment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Knowledge of aseptic technique practices is essential for maintaining patient safety during procedures.
• Experience working in both Level I and Level II Trauma Centers is a plus.
