About the position

The Cardiac Wireless Monitoring Technician at Philips is responsible for analyzing and processing ECG transmissions for patients using the ECG Solutions wireless product. This role involves ensuring clinical accuracy, documenting findings, and escalating abnormalities as per protocols. The technician will work in a collaborative team environment, meeting performance indicators and maintaining high-quality standards. The position requires flexibility in scheduling, including potential evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Review ECG transmissions and associated algorithm findings for clinical accuracy.
• Assess ECG transmissions to determine physician notification criteria and document actions and findings.
• Escalate any abnormalities in line with software and physician notification protocol.
• Meet key performance indicators and uphold quality standards in a team-based setting.
• Complete training and ramp-up stages before transitioning to regular shifts.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Active Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) or Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT) certification, or obtain one within 180 days of hire.
• 6+ months of relevant experience in data entry, customer service, or EKG analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and strong technical acumen.
• Ability to work across multiple technical platforms and adapt to change.
• Excellent communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a clinical or healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with ECG monitoring equipment.
