About the position
Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join their established cardiology team in Northeast Philadelphia. The position offers flexibility in hours and the opportunity to provide comprehensive cardiac care, including preventative screening, diagnostics, and advanced treatment options. The role emphasizes person-centered care and includes opportunities for professional development and community engagement.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient consults and office-based clinical care.
- Perform echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), nuclear cardiology, vascular imaging, and cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET).
- Integrate with the EMR system for office image viewing.
- Participate in community teaching hospital initiatives and faculty appointments at local universities.
- Engage in coordinated programs with regional tertiary care centers.
- Contribute to the Cardiogenic Shock initiative and 24-hour STEMI programs.
- Participate in National Cardiovascular Data Registries (NCDR) and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Non-Invasive Cardiology.
- Excellent clinical skills and experience in cardiology.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with interventional cardiology and electrophysiology.
- Familiarity with advanced imaging techniques.
