About the position

A level III trauma facility is seeking a cardiologist for locum tenens coverage in northeast Oklahoma. This position offers flexibility in scheduling and is ideal for a provider looking for a temporary assignment with the opportunity to explore the local area, including the scenic Chickasaw National Recreation Area.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient cardiology services
• Conduct rounds and consults, averaging 10 hours per day
• Manage a case load of approximately 18 consults per day
• Collaborate with support staff, including 4 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
• Ensure compliance with board certification and prescriptive authority requirements

Requirements

• Board Certification in Cardiology
• Prescriptive Authority
• Experience in inpatient cardiology
