About the position
The Cardiologist position at Parkersburg Cardiology Associates offers an exceptional opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiologist to join a well-established private practice. This role allows for both invasive and non-invasive cardiology practices within a supportive environment, providing autonomy and governance typical of private practice while ensuring financial stability through a professional services agreement with the local hospital. The practice is the exclusive provider of cardiac services in the region, serving a community of nearly 300,000 residents.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive cardiology services, including both invasive and non-invasive procedures.
- Collaborate with a team of 16 providers, including 3 interventional and 3 invasive cardiologists, and 9 nurse practitioners.
- Participate in the management of patients with cardiovascular diseases.
- Engage in community outreach and education regarding heart health.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology.
- Valid medical license to practice in West Virginia.
- Strong clinical skills in both invasive and non-invasive cardiology procedures.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
