About the position

This position is for a Board Eligible/Board Certified Cardiologist to join a hospital in Conway, South Carolina, due to increased patient demand. The role involves a full-time commitment with a focus on general cardiology practice, including outpatient clinic work and administrative duties. The cardiologist will be part of a team that aims to capture more cardiology cases and will have access to two cath labs performing a significant number of procedures annually.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general cardiology services in a clinical setting.
  • Conduct diagnostic heart catheterizations and coronary interventions.
  • Perform stress tests, echocardiograms, and vascular testing.
  • Participate in a call rotation for STEMI and cardiology cases.
  • Collaborate with other medical professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiology.
  • Experience in performing diagnostic heart catheterizations and interventions.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication and patient care skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Fellowship training in a subspecialty of cardiology.
  • Experience with advanced cardiac procedures.
