About the position

This position is for a full-time physician specializing in cardiology, working alongside two part-time nurse practitioners. The role offers a competitive compensation package, including RVU production bonuses and quality incentives, while providing comprehensive benefits and a supportive work environment. The physician will manage a diverse patient base with a focus on cardiac care, utilizing advanced technology and resources.

Responsibilities

• Manage an average of 12-16 patients per day.
• Supervise stress testing procedures in a co-located respiratory therapy department.
• Interpret cardiac imaging, ECGs, and device interrogation reports.
• Perform minor procedures including implanting and removal of loop recorders, cardioversion, and TEE.
• Utilize Epic EHR with Cupid module and Muse for patient management.
• Provide implantable cardiac device management services.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree with board certification in cardiology.
• Experience in managing cardiac patients and performing related procedures.
• Familiarity with Epic EHR system.
