Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesiology care for a variety of surgical cases including CABG, valve surgery, and aortic surgery.
- Participate in the education of residents and fellows through clinical and didactic teaching.
- Engage in professional development activities including research and mentorship.
- Support the structural heart program with procedures such as TAVR and cardiac ablations.
Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
- Completion of a Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology Fellowship is required.
- Certification in Advanced Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography through the National Board of Echocardiography (NBE) is required.
- Eligibility for Michigan licensure.
