About the position

The University of California Davis is seeking a full-time Cardiothoracic Radiologist to join the Department of Radiology. This position is part of the Professor of Clinical 'X' Series or Health Sciences Clinical Professor Series, with ranks available from Assistant to Full Professor based on experience and credentials. The role involves engaging in teaching, research, and professional activities, with a focus on cardiothoracic imaging studies.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in professional competence and activity in cardiothoracic imaging.
  • Participate in teaching and scholarly activities.
  • Conduct cardiothoracic imaging studies including chest radiography, computed tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings with various medical specialties.
  • Participate in weekend calls in rotation with other division members.

Requirements

  • M.D., D.O., or equivalent degree required.
  • Licensed or eligible for full licensure in the State of California.
  • Fellowship trained in Cardiothoracic Imaging at the time of start.
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.
  • Documented interest in research and teaching with a strong track record in scholarly activities.
