About the position

The position involves assisting physicians in performing invasive procedures and coordinating patient care within a designated room. The role is integral to optimizing team performance as part of a multi-disciplinary healthcare team, ensuring high-quality patient care in a full-time capacity.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in performing invasive procedures.
• Coordinate care in an assigned room.
• Provide patient care during procedures.
• Participate as a member of the multi-disciplinary healthcare team to optimize performance.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved AMA School of Radiologic Technology required.
• AA degree preferred.
• Must be licensed by the State of Maryland Board of Physicians Quality Assurance as a Radiology Technologist.
• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Current BLS/ACLS Certification required within 1 year from the end of orientation date.
• Advanced certification is encouraged.
• Must pass JHH Arrhythmia Course and Exam before recording independently.
• Current PALS Certification is required if in pediatric cardiology.

Nice-to-haves

• CI or CV registry is encouraged, in Electrophysiology.
• RCES registry and HRS certification is encouraged.
