About the position

The Cardiovascular Sales Specialist at Edwards Lifesciences is a key sales role focused on promoting and educating medical professionals about the Surgical Structural Heart division's products and services. This position aims to enhance patient care by identifying sales opportunities, tailoring product recommendations, and launching new technologies while maintaining strong relationships with healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

  • Identify sales opportunities based on patient and surgeon needs.
  • Tailor product recommendations to facilitate excellent patient and procedural outcomes and attain/exceed quota.
  • Launch new products successfully and develop new business opportunities with established customers.
  • Educate physicians on medical literature, concepts, and procedures related to Surgical Heart products.
  • Prepare complex analyses for accurate targeting and planning by account, product, and therapy.
  • Develop sales forecasts and execute strategic plans for the territory.
  • Maintain thorough territory knowledge, including competitive activity and customer utilization practices.
  • Prepare and negotiate pricing offers/contracts in collaboration with senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5 years of Medical Device Clinical Sales Experience.
  • Operating room sales experience.
  • Consistent track record of successful territory and account management.

  • Implantable Cardiovascular Surgical Device Sales for more than 3 years.
