About the position

The cardiovascular technologist acts as a clinical / technical support team member. They are competent in cardiac invasive procedural skill sets such as surgical scrub, hemodynamic monitoring, and clinical data computation and acquisition. The cardiovascular technologist provides on-call coverage as assigned and as rotations require. They are competent in cardiac imaging PACS acquisition and data management. The CVT is required to functionally perform duties in Cath Lab, EP lab, and Interventional Vascular Lab as needed on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

• Act as a clinical/technical support team member in cardiovascular procedures.
• Perform surgical scrub and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Manage clinical data computation and acquisition.
• Provide on-call coverage as assigned and required by rotations.
• Perform duties in Cath Lab, EP lab, and Interventional Vascular Lab as needed.
• Competently handle cardiac imaging PACS acquisition and data management.

Requirements

• 2 year / Associate Degree in Accredited Cardiovascular Program or certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES).
• 2 year / Associate Degree in Radiology Technology Program with ARRT.
• 1 year of Cardiovascular Technology or Cardiac Electrophysiology experience preferred.
