Responsibilities

  • Provide amazing customer service to patients and visitors.
  • Check patients in and out for appointments according to company policy and procedures.
  • Efficiently schedule patient appointments for both new and existing patients.
  • Manage referral processes and verify insurance information.
  • Collect payments and maintain accurate patient accounts in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
  • Answer phones and direct patients to the appropriate area or person.
  • Prepare patient charts and documents in a timely manner.
  • Complete opening and closing duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience in customer service or as a Medical Receptionist preferred.
  • Ability to operate a computer and basic office equipment.
  • Skill in answering a multi-line telephone system in a pleasant and helpful manner.
  • Well organized and detail-oriented.
