Highgate Senior Living is looking for dedicated and compassionate Care Partners to join our wonderful team. We are hiring for part time- full time time Day, Evening and NOC shift positions. CARE PARTNER/CAREGIVER We are looking for the right person to partner with our residents to help them continue to live their lives of purpose and make the most of every day by providing the best care and support we can give them. We specialize in assisted living and memory care. Highgate Senior Living's mission is to devote ourselves to help each resident live a life of purpose and each of us plays a crucial role in doing so. We operate communities in the western US and are seeking the right Care Partner/Caregiver to join our team. This position can be full-time or part-time and includes being responsible for the care of our residents, which can be hands-on and/or stand-by assistance as needed. At Highgate, providing care means to provide for the whole person, providing physical assistance with activities of daily living and emotional, psychological, and soulful support. The successful candidate will be an organized and detail-oriented individual with a positive and self-motivated attitude. You must have strong communication and critical thinking abilities as interacting with seniors while providing care requires both abilities. Responsibilities
- Provide care and support to residents in assisted living and memory care.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living.
- Offer emotional, psychological, and soulful support.
- Develop strong working relationships with residents and team members.
- Adapt to the changing needs of older adults.
- Participate in training and incorporate feedback into care efforts.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to obtain CPR & First Aid Certification.
- Ability to obtain required caregiving license within specified timeframe if necessary.
- Current negative TB test.
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, and move continuously during work hours.
- Ability to carry or transfer up to 50lbs with assistance.
- Ability to pass criminal record/background check.
- Good time management skills.
- Ability to work independently with little oversight.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.

- Prior experience working in an assisted living community or memory care community.
- Experience in customer service or hospitality.
