About the position

As a Care Partner, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors by providing personal care, emotional support, and engaging in social activities. This position is centered around compassion and innovation, aiming to create a vibrant living environment for elders. You will work closely with the Wellness Team to monitor health changes and ensure a clean and supportive atmosphere for residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist elders with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Observe, document, and report changes in the elder's health or behavior to the Wellness Team.
• Provide emotional support to elders dealing with loneliness, anxiety, or other emotional challenges.
• Help elders with meals and possibly feed those who require additional support.
• Support elders in life-enriching social and recreational activities.
• Communicate effectively with elders, their families, other team members, and guests.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness.

Requirements

• Willingness to learn and work within a team environment.
• Good verbal communication skills and the ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Licensing documentation (if required by your state) and ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Ability to perform job responsibilities with or without accommodation.
