Responsibilities

  • Configure, monitor, maintain, and fine-tune CAREWare databases to ensure high levels of data availability.
  • Analyze data and create reports for program management of Ryan White Parts A, C, and D, adhering to grant reporting requirements.
  • Maintain database integrity, identify opportunities for system improvements, and correct data issues.
  • Optimize workflow and enhance service delivery while ensuring compliance with federal requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT and program staff for seamless integration with various data systems.
  • Provide technical support to CAREWare users, primarily RW program sub-recipients.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between software users and IT departments.
  • Facilitate communication to resolve technical issues promptly and gather user feedback for process improvement.
  • Investigate and resolve data, reporting, and system inconsistencies in coordination with program staff.
  • Meet regularly with staff and management to discuss data issues and status updates.
  • Provide comprehensive training to healthcare staff and program administrators, creating training materials and user guides.
  • Implement security measures to safeguard databases from unauthorized access or breaches.
  • Stay current on program guidelines, industry trends, and healthcare technology advancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, Public Health, Nursing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years in healthcare IT, Information Technology, Database Administration, Public Health, Nursing, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of HIV/AIDS care, treatment, and program management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in training and instructional design.
  • Technical aptitude and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
