About the position

Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland and East Central Ohio is seeking a full-time Career Coach/Case Manager to join our Mission Services team. This role focuses on providing social service navigation and connecting individuals to community resources, while also establishing and maintaining relationships with employers and public agencies to facilitate learning and secure employment opportunities. The position aims to improve the lives of individuals by offering skill-building programs and services to help overcome barriers to employment and independence.

Responsibilities

• Provide social service navigation and connect individuals to community resources.
• Establish and maintain community relationships with employers and public agencies.
• Facilitate learning and secure employment opportunities for individuals served.
• Work a flexible schedule that may include nights or weekends based on individual needs.
• Transport individuals served as necessary within communities.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish is required.
• Bachelor's degree in education, social work, psychology, rehabilitation counseling, business, or related field preferred.
• Three years of experience providing vocational rehabilitation services may substitute for a degree.
• Ability to complete State of Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities provider training.
• Valid driver's license with five or fewer points and automotive insurance required.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is required.

Nice-to-haves

• Certified Employment Support Professional (CESP) certification may be required.
