About the position

The Career Coach at Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas (PCCUA) is responsible for delivering college and career preparation services to high school students. This role focuses on assisting students in creating post-secondary plans, preparing for the ACT, and connecting them with various educational opportunities. The position is grant-funded and provisional, governed by state and federal laws and agency policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with creating a post-secondary plan.
• Ensure students practice for and take the ACT.
• Provide work-based learning opportunities.
• Connect high school students to CTE, concurrent enrollment, dual enrollment, and AP opportunities.
• Maintain records of all services provided to students.
• Provide information on obtaining workforce credentials.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Experience working with students preferred.
