About the position

The Career Coach for Project Hire is responsible for supporting clients with Intellectual Disabilities and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder in seeking and maintaining competitively paid employment. This role involves developing individualized employment opportunities, educating potential employers about the services offered, and providing on-the-job training and ongoing support to clients and their support teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop individualized employment opportunities for each client
  • Contact and educate potential employers regarding services and Project Hire
  • Provide on-the-job training and on-going support to clients and/or their direct staff or job coach
  • Complete required documentation and maintain communication with client's team

Requirements

  • Five years' combination of skills, experience and/or education in human services or related field
  • Valid driver's License, use of a personal vehicle, and an acceptable driving record
