Responsibilities

• Provides case management with a focus on helping customers prepare for employment leading to self-sufficiency.
• Conducts complete assessments using various techniques including computer-based assessments and one-on-one interviews.
• Facilitates customer access to training, education, and employment services.
• Interviews customers to gather information on training needs, educational background, work experience, skills, interests, and eligibility.
• Verifies eligibility for program services.
• Provides career guidance to help customers identify employment goals and develop service and employment plans.
• Monitors customer progress and provides follow-up after job placement to ensure job retention.
• Maintains accurate and compliant case record documentation.
• Keeps job seeker case files in an audit-ready state.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university/college or equivalent work experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Familiarity with the communities being served and knowledge of local needs and resources.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in workforce development or related programs.
• Bilingual is a plus.
